Agriculture & sourcing
From Uganda's Farms to Global Shelves
Uganda's soils and climate produce coffee, honey, cocoa, fruit, grains and spices of real commercial quality. Our role is to organise that supply and add value to it.

International Markets
BRET does not claim direct farm ownership or formal farmer programmes. Sourcing arrangements are made with suppliers, aggregators and producers on commercial terms, and are described per product line once confirmed.
Principles
How we approach sourcing
Responsible sourcing
Suppliers are selected against defined commercial and quality criteria.
Agricultural value addition
Raw materials are processed into formats with longer shelf life and higher value.
Producer relationships
We aim for repeat, long-term supply relationships rather than spot purchases.
Traceability
Sourcing records are maintained where implemented for a given product line.
Quality
Product specification agreed before purchase, checked before dispatch.
Local economic value
Processing in Uganda keeps more of the value chain in the country of origin.
From Uganda, with pride
